Piano lessons for all ages

I believe in creating an engaging, fun, positive, atmosphere that focuses on student's strengths while seeking to improve students in every musical aspect, to create a well-rounded musician. Through self-discovery, I aim to lead the student down a path where they encounter the importance, beauty, and creative opportunity that music provides, and obtain the ability to perform, listen critically, and create the beauty that is music.

Lessons will be tailored to fit the student's unique goals, strength's and weaknesses. I do not want to cultivate students that are exact resemblances of me, but rather help the students find his/her own unique artistic voice. Before this can happen however, it is essential for a student to learn the "nuts and bolts" of music. It is the combination of the students mastery of musical "nuts and bolts" and his/her artistic expression and voice that make up a complete musician.

Lastly, I not only want to teach my students the piano but I hope to be someone they can look up to as a role model and be someone who can help grow them as a person overall. I will do this by portraying a humble spirit, always listening first, having compassion and much more.
